<title><![CDATA[NALSAR Mediation Tournament 5.0: JGLS & NUJS Students Win Best Negotiating Pair Award]]></title>

Jindal Global University, along with <b>Pratyaksh Jain of the National University of Juridical Sciences,</b> Kolkata, were awarded the title of “Best Negotiating Pair” and emerged as winners of the Negotiation Segment at the Fox & Mandal – NALSAR Mediation Tournament 5.0, hosted by NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad.</p>

 <p data-start="1182" data-end="1369">The tournament brought together law students from across the country for engagement with mediation and negotiation, with 133 team registrations and participation from over 400 students.</p> 
 <p data-start="1371" data-end="1652">Following an initial evaluation round, 24 teams advanced to the oral rounds, which comprised three preliminary rounds followed by knockout stages. Participants were assessed on negotiation strategy, problem-solving, and their ability to arrive at balanced and practical outcomes.</p> 
 <p data-start="1654" data-end="1866">The problem for this edition centred around a divorce settlement dispute, requiring participants to demonstrate both legal understanding and interpersonal skills such as communication, empathy, and negotiation.</p>
