Bombay High Court has closed for orders, a batch of petitions, seeking a complete ban on immersion of Plaster of Paris (PoP) made Ganesh idols in natural water bodies.

The State has sought at least three years time to do away with PoP idols, claiming that banning them overnight is not possible.
