Supreme Court hears suo motu plea regarding pay and allowance of consumer court member.

CJI: We saw a very disturbing news about the poor functioning of the consumer Commission. There are 2019 matters listed only once in 2022. Till now end of half of 2026 not a single date is given. If this is the performance then what kind of special expert forum have we constituated for consumer redressal?
