Central government has notified the appointment of following two Additional Judges of the Madras High Court as permanent Judges:

1) Justice Venkatachari Lakshminarayanan, and

2) Justice Periyasamy Vadamalai

The Supreme Court Collegium had made a recommendation in this regard in its meeting held on February 5th, 2025.

Justice Lakshminarayanan was appointed as an Additional Judge of the Madras High Court on February 23, 2023 while Justice Vadamalai was appointed as the Additional Judge of the Madras High Court on March 27, 2023.
