The Central Government on Thursday notified the transfer of Justice Annireddy Abhishek Reddy From Telangana High Court To Patna High Court. A notification issued in this regard reads thus:

"In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 222 of the Constitution of India, the President, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, is pleased to transfer Shri Justice Annireddy Abhishek Reddy, Judge, Telangana High Court, as a Judge of Patna High Court and to direct him to assume charge of his office in the Patna High Court."

Justice Reddy's name was proposed for Transfer to Patna HC by the SC Collegium in November last year amidst the protests of the Telangana High Court Bar Association against SC Collegoum's proposal to transfer him.
