The Central Government notified appointment of ten Additional Judges of Punjab & Haryana High Court as Permanent Judges on Sunday.

Following are the names of the judges:

(i) Justice Kuldeep Tiwari

(ii) Justice Gurbir Singh

(iii) Justice Deepak Gupta

(iv) Justice Amarjot Bhatti

(v) Justice Ritu Tagore

(vi) Justice Manisha Batra

(vii) Justice Harpreet Kaur Jeewan

(viii) Justice Sukhvinder Kaur

(ix) Justice Sanjiv Berry and

(x) Justice Vikram Aggarwal

The Supreme Court Collegium had recommended the appointment of the above additional judges, as permanent on February 13.

The notification stated that the appointment will be with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices.
