According to the placement data released by the University, 40 students secured Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs), 19 received offers through campus recruitment drives, 7 joined litigation chambers, and 10 secured admission to LL.M. programmes at leading national and international institutions.

The highest annual package offered to a student from the batch stood at ₹22.5 lakh per annum, while the median package was ₹13.5 lakh per annum.

Among law firms, Trilegal emerged as the top recruiter with five offers. Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, S&R Associates, Saraf & Partners, and DWF recruited three students each, while Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan, Argus Partners, and Saakshya Law extended two offers each. Several other leading firms, including AZB & Partners, Khaitan & Co., Economic Law Practice, CMS Indus Law, Bharucha & Partners, and others, recruited students from the batch.

In the corporate and banking sector, IDBI Bank was the leading recruiter with seven offers. Ashok Leyland recruited two students, while ICICI Bank, Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO), and Kalpataru hired one student each.

The recruitment process also saw participation from policy organisations, legal technology companies, consultancies, and fellowship programmes. Offers were extended by Consilio LLC, Varahe Analytics, Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy, Spotdraft, Commwiser LLP, and PRS India's LAMP Fellowship. One student also joined Nation with Namo's Graduate Impact Leadership Programme.

Seven students opted for litigation careers. Dalal Chambers recruited two students, while NJ Law Chambers, Reddy Law Chambers, the chambers of C.K. Nandakumar, the chambers of Pranjal Singh, and PVS Giridhar Associates each recruited one student.

Ten students secured admission to LL.M. programmes at institutions including the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS), National Law Institute University (NLIU), Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU), National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS), Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), IIFT Delhi, and King's College London.

The University attributed the placement performance to sustained institutional efforts and support from its alumni network. Dr. Arjyalopa Mishra, Placement Coordinator and Associate Professor of Management, noted that NLUO alumni occupying senior positions across law firms, corporate legal teams, and litigation chambers played a significant role in facilitating recruitment opportunities for students.

The Recruitment Coordination Committee (RCC) 2026 comprised Akhil Raj, Rishita Agarwal, Ansruta Debnath, Satya Narayan Pradhan, Arjim Jain, Shloka Mathur, Devan Kakar, Souparna Mukherjee, Kartik Shukla, Mandar Prakhar, and Vedant Mishra. The committee conducted placement-preparation initiatives including credit courses on recruitment readiness, CV drafting sessions, and mock interviews.

The recruitment drive was facilitated under the leadership of Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) K. Vidyullatha Reddy, Registrar Prof. (Dr.) Rangin Pallav Tripathy, Placement Coordinator Dr. Arjyalopa Mishra, and faculty advisors Dr. Kaushiki Brahma and Dr. Rashmi Rekha Baug.

The University further stated that several students from the 2022–27 batch have already secured Pre-Placement Offers from organisations including Khaitan & Co., AZB & Partners, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Bombay Law Chambers, Aquilaw, and ICICI Bank, indicating continued recruiter interest in NLUO students.
