The Supreme Court collegium has recommended to make 7 Additional Judges of Gauhati, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand High Court permanent.

Justices Hitesh Kumar Sarma and Mir Alfaz Ali of the Gauhati High Court, Justices Sharad Kumar Gupta, Ram Prasanna Sharma and Arvind Singh Chandel of the Chhattisgarh High Court, Justices Bimlendu Bhushan Mangalmurti and  Anil Kumar Choudhary of the Jharkhand High Court, are the judges who will be made permanent judges of the respective High courts.

The collegium comprising of CJI Ranjan Gogoi, Justice SA Bobde and Justice NV Ramana said that it has considered the reports of the committee constituted by it to assess the Judgments of these judges and also held consultation with their colleagues who is conversant with the affairs of the concerned High Court.
