The Central Government has appointed Shri Naveen Kumar B, retired Additional Director (Prosecution), Directorate of Enforcement (ED), as Member (Law) of the Adjudicating Authority constituted under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 (PMLA).
The appointment has been made by the President of India through an Office Order dated August 11, 2026, issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue.
As per the order, Naveen Kumar B will hold the post at Level 14 of the Pay Matrix for a period of five years from the date he assumes charge. His tenure will, however, end upon his attaining the age of 65 years or until further orders, whichever is earliest.
The Office Order was issued by Jatin Kumar, Under Secretary to the Government of India, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance.
