Centre Notifies Five Advocates As Additional Judges Of Karnataka HC

The Central Government has notified the appointments of five advocates as Additional Judges of the Karnataka High Court.
They are:
- Neranahalli Srinivasan Sanjay Gowda
- Jyoti Mulimani
- Nataraj Rangaswamy
- Hemant Chandangoudar,
- Pradeep Singh Yerur
They will assume office in the above order of seniority and will hold the position for two years.
The SC Collegium had recommended the elevation of these Advocates as judges of the high court, vide resolution dated October 3. Through the same resolution, the Collegium had also recommended the names of Nagendra Ramachandra Naik, Ravi Venkappa Hosmani and Maheshan Nagaprasanna. However, the centre's notification is silent on this aspect.
