The Karnataka High Court, District Courts, Family Courts, Labour Courts and Industrial Tribunals, will remain closed till May 16.
As per the notifications issued it is stated that "As per this office Notifications dated 23.03.2020, 24.03.2020, 25.03.2020, 13.04.2020 and 27.04.2020, the closure of the High Court of Karnataka, Principal Bench, Bengaluru and Benches at Dharwad and Kalaburagi, upto 03.05.2020 were notified. Further, the period of closure of the High Court of Karnataka, Bengaluru including Benches at Dharwad and Kalaburagi is hereby extended till 16.05.2020 for the purpose of Section 4 of the Limitation Act 1963."
As such, only a skeletal staff, as notified in earlier notifications, are directed to attend the office work and the rest of the staff need not attend the office till 16.05.2020, unless specifically directed by the Registrars.
