In face of the persisting situation due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Teaching and Non-teaching staff of the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata, has donated their one day salary towards the West Bengal State Emergency Relief Fund.
A total amount of ₹ 5,00,000/- has been contributed, inclusive of the "modest contribution" made by the University.
The amount was donated on Wednesday, March 8 along with an appeal to all the citizens to follow all the Government instructions to combat the pandemic.
