The Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court has issued an official notification regarding the Summer Vacation 2025, which will be observed from June 9 to June 28, 2025 (both days inclusive). The period from June 9 to June 14 has been declared as a 'No Work Period' for the High Court.
In accordance with Rule 12 of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court Rules, 1999, the Chief Justice has nominated the following Hon'ble Judges as Vacation Judges to hear urgent matters during the vacation period at both the Jammu and Srinagar wings of the High Court:
In Jammu Wing
Justice Sanjay Parihar— June 15 to June 21, 2025
Justice Rajesh Sekhri— June 23 to June 28, 2025
In Srinagar Wing:
Justice Mohammed Yousuf Wani — June 15 to June 21, 2025
Justice Shahzad Azeem — June 23 to June 28, 2025
The notification ensures continuity in judicial work for urgent matters even during the court vacation, reinforcing access to justice during recess periods.
