The zonal bench has jurisdiction to hear matters pertaining to substantial question related to Environment, in the states of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Union Territories of Pondicherry and Lakswadeep. The bench was vacant for last two years
