The Central government has notified the appointment of three Additional Judges of the Calcutta High Court, as Permanent Judges.
They are:
- Justice Bibek Chaudhuri
- Justice Subhasis Dasgupta
- Justice Suvra Ghosh
The Supreme Court Collegium had recommended the same vide a resolution dated April 20.
Justices Chaudhuri and Dasgupta were appointed as judges of the high court on October 12, 2018. Justice Suvra was appointed as a Judge on November 19, 2018.
