The Central government has notified the appointment of two Additional Judges of the Allahabad High Court, as Permanent Judges.
They are:
- Justice Rahul Chaturvedi
- Justice Irshad Ali
The Supreme Court Collegium had recommended elevation of Justice Chaturvedi as such, vide resolution dated February 12. He was appointed as an Additional Judge of the high court on September 22, 2017, and in September last year, the government had extended his term for another six months.
The Collegium had recommended elevation Justice Ali in September last year. He was elevated as an Additional Judge in the year 2017.
